  • Hajj season holidays are scheduled to commence this week, insha-Allah.

Update: September 9, 2014

  • Alhamdulillah, the university has officially released a second batch of names for students who have been accepted and granted a scholarship by the university for the academic year of 2014-2015 /1435-1436. For further details, click here.
  • In total, THIRTY-SIX (36) Canadian students have been accepted this year, masha-Allah.
  • Historically, since it’s inception in 1961, the university has never accepted such a large number of students from Canada.
  • All students who have been accepted are encouraged to send an e-mail to: canadinah@gmail.com for further directions and assistance. Please bear in mind that the students currently monitoring the website’s email address may not respond to your messages promptly due to the large volume of newly accepted students coupled with the normal demands of student life and the fast-approaching Hajj season. Your patience and prayers are humbly requested and greatly appreciated.

Update: September 2, 2014

  • Almost all students are now back in Madinah and preparing to commence their studies in the upcoming Fall semester. Insha-Allah, classes are expected to begin on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

Update: August 4, 2014

  • Due to some technical difficulties, the Canadinah website was not updated for quite some time. If this has caused any sense of frustration or hardship, we hope that you kindly forgive us. Your sincere du’as are also humbly requested.
  • At present, most students are back in Canada for the duration of the summer vacation. For those who will be returning to Madinah insha-Allah, the re-entry visa expires on Saturday, August 30th, 2014.
  • Alhamdulillah, the university has officially released the names of EIGHT (8) students who have been accepted and granted a scholarship by the university for the academic year of 2014-2015 /1435-1436. For further details, click here.

Update: January 26, 2014

  • The winter holidays have finally come to an end and all students are now preparing for the upcoming new semester.
  • Students who need to renew their passport are advised to do so as soon as possible. Further information is available at the university’s travel administration office.
  • A number of government e-services have been made available for students via the new ‘Abshir’ program. For registration, click here.

Update: December 26, 2013

  • The acceptance list for the academic year of the 2013-2014 has finally been released, walhamdulillah. Click here for details.

  • All newly accepted students are expected to arrive in Madinah in time for the second semester of the current academic year, insha-Allah.

Update: December 22, 2013

  • Final examinations for the first semester have commenced, walhamdulillah.
  • A number of students are now preparing to travel back to their home countries for the winter holidays.
  • All students continuing with their studies are expected to return to Saudi Arabia no later than January 25, 2014.
  • For those who will be traveling during the break, please ensure that you know your rights whilst traveling abroad.

Update: November 12, 2013

  • Unfortunately, the  acceptance list for the academic year of 2013-2014 has not yet been officially released. However, it is expected to be posted shortly, insha-Allah.
  • Some of the students who have been selected for the scholarship have already learned of their acceptance by checking the status of their applications online. All students who have been accepted are encouraged to send an e-mail to: canadinah@gmail.com
  • Insha-Allah the official acceptance list will be posted online once it is released by the university. May Allah reward all of you for your patience.

 Update: June 12, 2013

  • For the first time since November 2010, married students who wish to bring their families are now legally permitted to bring their wives and children to Madinah, walhamdulillah.
  • All current students who have fulfilled the application requirements to-date have confirmed that they have received the appropriate residence visa slips via the university.

Update: May 18, 2013

  • Final examinations for the second semester  have officially commenced, walhamdulillah.
  • Many students are now preparing to travel back to their home countries for the summer holidays.
  • All students continuing with their studies are expected to return to Saudi Arabia no later than August 30, 2013.
  • For those who will be traveling during the break, please ensure that you know your rights whilst traveling abroad.
  • The acceptance list for the academic year of 2013-2014 has not yet been finalized, and it is expected to be published before the beginning of September insha-Allah.

Update: April 16, 2013

  • Approximately three weeks remain until classes end and reading week begins, bi ithnillah.
  • Examinations are officially scheduled to commence on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
  • The annual book fair, which began on Monday, April 1, 2013 has finally come to an end as of yesterday, walhamdulillah.

Update: December 1, 2012

  • Students are currently preparing for their final examinations of the first semester which are to commence on Saturday, December 29, 2012 insha-Allah.
  • The winter holidays begin immediately after the final examinations for the first semester; precise dates depend on the academic level, course load, and faculty of each student.
  • All of the new students who have established contact with the website have arrived safely and completed all of the registration procedures, walhamdulillah.
  • All students who intend to travel during the winter holidays are expected to return no later than Friday, January 25, 2013.

Update: August 28, 2012

  • Summer holidays are nearly over and the university is slowly coming back to life as students return to the Blessed City.
  • The university has released the acceptance list for the academic year of 2012/2013.

  • Most of the new students have arrived safely and completed their enrollment processes, walhamdulillah.

Update: January 17, 2012

  • After finally gathering all of the appropriate documents, the newly accepted students are now ready to submit their documents to the Saudi embassy so as to process their visas. The process is as follows:
  1. Click here to access the Visa Search from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  2. Enter the appropriate visa number as provided online by the university into the field entitled VISA NUMBER.
  3. Enter the following digits into the field entitled ID NUMBER:  7000945068
  4. Click SEARCH.
  5. A page should load immediately thereafter, containing important information related to the visa. This page is called the VISA SLIP.
  6. Save a digital and hard copy of the visa slip, and include it with the visa application package that is to be submitted to the embassy for visa processing.

*The university’s ID NUMBER for this year as provided above is supposed to be universal – thus, students from all over the world can use it to access their visa slip insha-Allah.

(1) اضغط هنا للدخول الى موقع وزارة الخارجية

(2) ادخل رقم الفيزا (التأشيرة) في الحقل الاول

(3) ادخل رقم السجِل 7000945068 في الحقل الثاني

(4) اضغط على زر البحث – ستظهر امامك صفحة فيها معلومات مهمة عن الفيزا و هي تسمى مستند تأشيرة الدخول

(5) اطبع الصفحة وأرفق نسخة مع الطلب والمستندات لارسالها مع التأشيرة ، واحفظ نسخة منها في المفضلة لديك حتى تعود اليها في وقت لاحق.

(*) ملاحظة: رقم السجل المقدم من الجامعة هو رقم عام وشامل بمعنى ان كل الطلاب يستطيعوا استخدامه لاستخراج تأشيرات الدخول.
